Rockport Beach

Monday afternoon (after I woke up) I called my dad to see if he wanted to go to the Victoria Zoo or something with Cass and I. He told me that he and my stepmom and brothers were on their way to the beach in Rockport and would like for us to join him. Since we don't often get asked to go with them places, I decided to ask Cass if she wanted to go to the beach or not. I picked her up from daycare and she told me she did NOT want to go.

What??! My kid loves the beach, it's one of her favorite things to do!

After some discussing with her she changed her mind and said she wanted to go swim with "Uncles". So we packed up our stuff, put on our swim suits, and drove down to Rockport.

I ended up getting a 1 year parking pass ($10 vs $4 for one time parking)! So we will be heading down there more :P

It's a nice little beach, nicer than Magnolia, that's for sure! And far enough away from P.L. that I don't *know* just about everyone there...perk of my job I guess, I recognize A LOT of people who we have dealt with.

Cass took a while to warm up to everyone - she doesn't see them often.

She made this face for a while and clung to me...

After a little while she finally got in the water, with me at first, then I was able to sneak off and get some pictures of her and "Uncles" playing.

This was just too sweet not to share.
